Making a Tea
Step 1: Mix 2 cups of vermicompost for every 3 gallons of water - covering up to 400 sq ft of garden space per application. For Large Applications 2000-4000 sq ft. - mix 12 cups in 5-15 gallons of water.
Step 2: Submerge the mesh bag in water, squeezing and agitating it to release the nutrients.
Step 3: Allow the fine particles to dissolve into the water, creating your nutrient rich 'tea'
 
Utilizing Remaining Solids
- After making the tea, remove the mesh bag from the water
- The remaining larger particles are still valuable! Spread these evenly across your top inch of soil
- Work the solid vermicompost evenly into your garden (this step is best done before planting)
 
Apply the Vermicompost Tea
- Allow a few minutes for particles to settle before moving to a sprayer. Note that there will be particles in the last bit of your water, leave them so they do not clog your sprayer.
- Use your tea to water your plants either as a soil drench or a foliar spray (aiming for 80% foliar coverage)
 
For New Outdoor Plants
Spread Earth's Embrace evenly along the top inch of soil and work evenly into the garden bed before planting.
 
For best results we recommend you make a tea and use vermicompost left in mesh bag that you just incorporated into your water.
 
For Existing Outdoor Plants
Sprinkle Earth's Embrace around the base of the plants and on top of the soil. Increase usage amount with larger plants, shrubs, trees. Gently work into soil if you are able to.
 
For New Indoor Plants
mix vermicompost in a 1:5 ratio into your soil before planting
 
Lawns - New and Existing
Approximately half (30 cups) of our large bag can be mixed using 50 gallons of water to create a super high quality tea that your grass will love. Mix and water in the morning or evening for best practices.
